If you are going up the Mosel then the wee campsite up the hill Andy, David and I stayed in comes highly recommended. Lovely little site with a wee shop and bar p0p and only about 10 mins walk from the village. Smashing family that own the place and made us very welcome. Well worth a visit
Hi Boris, we were there for one day last year. Down towards the village, turn left onto the site over a little bridge. We were in transit so not there long. But a nice site.

Just looking at times/distance.
We'll need to leave Mainz on Friday morning & camp within an hour of the chunnel for return to Blighty on Saturday morning, home mid Sat afternoon.
Pete, was it Wed or Thurs when we leave the Mosel?

Sorry for the delay guys but unfortunately had some not so nice news. Deb had a skin growth checked out and the Doc was not happy at all
He says it looks not to good and Deb needs to see a specialist. Now of course that has shaken Deb a bit as her Dad died of cancer,her mum had one skin cancer removed and is waiting for a appointment to have another one removed. The appointment has come through and its slap bang in the middle of the Germany trip. I hope you understand that we can not miss that and will have to stay to have Deb checked out proper. Its a bit stressful at the mo as deb is a worrier

The offer for a bed still stands,we would love to see you guys off on the trip over or on your way back
